Vanilla & Sandalwood Candle 180ml

This Vanilla & Sandalwood candle smells of dominant aromatic woodsy Sandalwood notes supported by cedarwood nuances and finally blended with a substantive base of vanilla pods. 

These small candles are hand-poured into our 180ml amber jars with our signature Oré mi label and a black gloss lid. This candle burns for up to 40 hours.

Scent Story 

When I was younger, my dad would bring my siblings and I pure dark honey from his trips home to Nigeria. I was mesmerised by it – its rich, dark colour, its sweetness – and I wanted to make a candle that would represent that wonder.

I combined the sweet, floral honey with earthy tobacco, to bring a deeper note to the profile, along with cinnamon, nutmeg, amber, patchouli and musk. I would like to think that one day my dad might keep bees on his farm in Nigeria; I need more honey!

Oré Mi uses soya wax, fine fragrance oils, and cotton-core wicks in their candles. All of their candles are vegan friendly and cruelty free.
