A beautifully handcrafted white porcelain pot that is perfect for small plants or to place on your desk to keep bits & bobs in. Part of Harriet's 'Functional' range, which has a minimalistic aesthetic. The porcelain vessels are created by slip-casting from plaster moulds, which in turn have been made from paper maquettes, hence the organic undulations, as well as the visible seamlines. The seamlines are purposefully left as a design feature because of the value in showing the making process within the finished piece. While the internal surfaces of the vessels are glazed in a glossy white glaze, the outside is simply the vitrified surface of porcelain. This growing range is currently comprised of two main pieces: pots and platters, bowls and tumblers, planters and vases, and even the odd spoon.
